Need to change bearings but got as far as hub, Please Help!Frount wheel drive pt cruiser wheel hub? How do you get it off?
I'm not really sure on the PT, but there are two basic types.



The first which is the simplest, the hub is held into the steering knuckle with bolts that are accessed through holes in the front of the hub where the disc mounts.



The second type requires removal of the entire knuckle from the strut, and lower ';A'; arm. Then the bearings are pressed out and back in with a large press, or the entire knuckle is replaced.

try google searching how to replace front wheel bearings. If you are trying to replace the bearing inside the hub assembly, you can't. If you need to purchase wheel bearings, I suggest MIBearings LLC. Their wheel bearings and hub assemblies are USA made.
there should be a spindle nut on the back side its either a 34 or 36 mm you can rent the spindle tool from advance auto...just unscrew and pop it out..
