Shadetree Mechanic was a tv show back in the 90's.

I highly doubt you're going to get your car on that show.

Now, if you're attempting to fix your own car, that's a different story. And if you don't know how long it will take, don't bother. You don't know enough to fix it anyway1994 Toyota Camry, how many work hours would it take a shade tree mechanic, from start to finish to rebuild?
its not the best answer by far, he's a joke, HA,HA,

just because i`m a shade tree mechanic does not mean i cain do the job,

WELL I DID THE JOB AND THE CAR IS BACK ON THE ROAD AND IT`S A DAILY DRIVER ONCE AGAIN.

If that was all he/she was working on, 5 days. Otherwise, could be waiting for parts or tools or other stuff. A Toyota dealer can tell you how many hours it will take from their book. Some people buy a used or rebuilt engine and change them out.

If your '94 Camry is in good condition, an engine costing about $2000 might be worth it.
