How to make my longboard [skateboard] go faster?

okay, im new to longboarding and i would like to know without actually changing any parts and buying new parts for my board, what are some ways to set it up to make it go faster?

ex..have your bearings tightened/loosened a certain amount or /loosen or tighten trucks

anything helps seeing how new I am to the sport so i appreciate your advice -I really have no idea what i should be doingHow to make my longboard [skateboard] go faster?
You cant really do that. You would have to buy new bearings if you want your board to go faster.

If you have your bolts around the bearings too tight, the wheels wont move. If you have them too loose, they might fall off eventually.

Tightening the trucks will not increase your speed, but it will keep you from getting speed wobbles if you are going fast. If you go fast, I would suggest tightening them.

So the only way to make the board go faster is to get new bearings and standing in the speed stance (you should know what that is, but if you don't, its the stance that racers use so they are more aerodynamic)How to make my longboard [skateboard] go faster?
im new to longboarding to!

one thing that you can do is to take out your wheels and spray silicon or some 'anti-friction type thing' on to the pegs where your wheels go. you can also do this to your bearings (little O shaped things in your wheel)

this will cause for less friction and you will go faster

also like jason m said do the speed stance. to do the speed stance basically just do anything to make less air friction

ex. bend your knees, keep your arms at ur sides, etc.
