First take off all the brake parts on that side, caliper, caliper bracket and rotor....that will expose the hub bearing...take off then nut that holds the CV shaft..remove the 3 inverted torks bolts on the inside of the spindle...if its abs unplug the wheel speed sensor wire and take it off..it's not just gunna fall off...then becarful putting the abs speed sensor wire through and install the reverse of taking it off....most of those bolts you won't be able to get off with out air tools.....good luck....How to change front wheel hub bearings on 2003 monte carlo ss?
Jack up car, place stand under frame (to hold car up if jack fall's, take off tire. You will need a chisel or screwdriver to separate the dust cover from the spindle, lightly tapping in the grove, as you work it around. then you will see a nut that is held in place be a cotter pin, take pliers and remove the pin, then using a socket or big channel locks, remove the nut, along with the washer and outer bearing. you will have to use a punch and hammer to remove the inner bearing and seal(which you probably have to replace), by punching out the back. You need to remove the race's also(inner and outer) with a punch. Sound like fun, maybe you need a friend to help you who has done this before.
