My husband has a 96 Honda Fourtracks 300 and he is wanting to know how to change the bearings on the rear end. Can anyone help?How to change bearings on rear end?
if he's never done it before i wouldnt recommend trying it..
but if he has to id get a good manual.
cuz with new bearings im pretty sure you have to re-shim it.. so you have the right backlash/clearances ect. does he have the tools to measure that stuff?How to change bearings on rear end?
which bearing is he wanting to change?, the pinion bearing or the axle bearing.
I Would Say Go To A Professional.
But Thats Just My Opinion.
