My front axle is leaking at the seals and I took my truck to a shop and they said the labor cost would be 5-6 hundred bucks because there is a lot to take off to get to the bearings. Is this a job that I can do and if so where is a good site with step by step help? How hard is it to change out front axle bearings and seals on 98 4x4 Sonoma.?

if you don't have lots of tools and are not used to working on cars... take it to a shop.
