Changing the wheels and bearings on a sector 9 longboard?

I just bought a great custom graphic board off of craigslist, only problem is that I want to get new wheels and bearings for it and I have no idea what size wheels it is supposed to have or how to change them when i do buy new ones. Is there a specific way to tell what wheels it needs?Changing the wheels and bearings on a sector 9 longboard?
Wheels are pretty much based on personal preference and how you are going to be riding the board. You will want to get wheels at least 65mm and softer than 95a durometer. I've got 75mm 78a wheels on my pintail cruising board. I use a littel harder wheel on my racing board. I use Pig Swiss bearings, but you can use any skate bearing, unless you have some of the newer trucks that use larger wheels.

A good guideline is softer and larger wheels will be less prone to have problems going over obstacles in the road. Bigger wheels give more speed, Softer wheels give a more comfortable ride, but are slower.

Changing the wheels is easy. Using a skate tool or socket, undo the axle nut. There should be 2 washers, called speed rings, on either side of the wheel. The wheel just pulls off.

To change out the bearings, gently pry the bearing out using the axle. Stick the bearing on the axle about the width of the bearing and gently pry. You may have to rotate the bearing and repeat until it comes off. Turn the wheel and repeat for the other bearing in the wheel.

Putting the bearings back in the wheel is also east. put the bearing on the axle and press the wheel firmly and evenly over the bearing; repeat for the other side.

If the old bearings spin freely, there is no need to do anything to them. If not, they may just need some cleaning and lubing. The instructions on the Bones website is very good, and will work with any removable shield bearing. I use denatured alcohol to clean the bearings. It doesn't leave any film and will not cause the bearings to rust.

If the bearings are rusty, have seized up, or still do not perform well after cleaning, then it is time for new ones.
