I have done alot of like changing motors, trans ,transfer cases, heads, waterpumps, manifolds, brakes,鈥? and alot of other stuff but just not sure of all the clutch plates, seals, orings and the rest of it any advise or anything about doing it your self.THANKSHow hard is it to put a rebuild kit in a 94 JEEP G.C.L trans its qaudra trac also ?
Pick up a rebuild manual for that type of trans, it will show you step by step how to do it. there will be a few tools to buy in order to set differant components to specs. Sounds like you know how to wrench, The kits are around 350.00 bucks, that a cheap fix if you do it yourself. good luckHow hard is it to put a rebuild kit in a 94 JEEP G.C.L trans its qaudra trac also ?
For me, it would be really close to impossible to put a rebuild kit in a Jeep or any other vehicle. For you it doesn't sound like it would be hard at all.

I don't get this maths question - bearings - please help!?
I am not looking for the answer, but for an explanation on how to do it - this was on my specimen paper and I do not get how to do it!
It says...
A ship leaves port %26amp; sails on a bearing of 130 for 3km. The ship then changes course and sails on a bearing of 240 for 7 km. Calculate the distance of the ship from the port (marked a on the diagram).
Then there's a diagram (please excuse my drawing):

You have accurately described the ship's path in your diagram so you know the two sides of a triangle (3km %26amp; 7km) and the included angle (70 degrees). I'm not sure what level you are at but given this information and some basic trigonometry you should be able to calculate the third side of the triangle, i.e. the distance from the port (6.6 km?)I don't get this maths question - bearings - please help!?
tbh i was about to ask the same question cos i dont have the slightest clue on how this works.
soz i cant help.

A cosine and sine question with bearings?
Hey i'm finding this question difficult=
Debbie runs 8km on a bearing of 310 degrees.
She stops, changes direction and continues running for 10 km on a bearing of 55 degrees.
Find the distance and bearing on which Debbie should run to return to her starting point.
I know how to draw the triangle and how to use the cosine and sine rules, i just don't know how to interpret them into the question. Could someone explain i've been trying for hours :)A cosine and sine question with bearings?
These problems can be done by solving a triangle. You should have no problem finding the magnitude of the resultant. It is, however a vector problem, with all angles drawn from north. The initial side of the angle is on the y-axis and the angle is opened clockwise. With that in mind the component vectors are added attaching them tail to head. Debbie should run the reverse direction of the Resultant.
The problem can be done by adding these numbers in polar coordinates.
(8, 310) + (10, 55) = (8.5,115.5 )
Debbie needs to run: 8.5 km with bearing 295.5
I added the vectors in polar form with a graphing calculator as complex numbers in polar form r*e^(螛i). You can convert to rectangular form for adding, then convert your answer back to polar form.A cosine and sine question with bearings?

How to make my longboard [skateboard] go faster?
okay, im new to longboarding and i would like to know without actually changing any parts and buying new parts for my board, what are some ways to set it up to make it go faster?
ex..have your bearings tightened/loosened a certain amount or /loosen or tighten trucks
anything helps seeing how new I am to the sport so i appreciate your advice -I really have no idea what i should be doingHow to make my longboard [skateboard] go faster?
You cant really do that. You would have to buy new bearings if you want your board to go faster.
If you have your bolts around the bearings too tight, the wheels wont move. If you have them too loose, they might fall off eventually.
Tightening the trucks will not increase your speed, but it will keep you from getting speed wobbles if you are going fast. If you go fast, I would suggest tightening them.
So the only way to make the board go faster is to get new bearings and standing in the speed stance (you should know what that is, but if you don't, its the stance that racers use so they are more aerodynamic)How to make my longboard [skateboard] go faster?
im new to longboarding to!
one thing that you can do is to take out your wheels and spray silicon or some 'anti-friction type thing' on to the pegs where your wheels go. you can also do this to your bearings (little O shaped things in your wheel)
this will cause for less friction and you will go faster
also like jason m said do the speed stance. to do the speed stance basically just do anything to make less air friction
ex. bend your knees, keep your arms at ur sides, etc.

Spray your bearings with grease or oil, you don't have to take anything apart, just don't use WD-40, because it sucks. This makes your bearings run smother, giving you a faster ride. Also, if your wheels are screwed down really tight you your trucks, that slows you down, try loosening it but not to much because when you're riding you might lose a wheel because the vibration of your board while riding down can shake your screw off.How to make my longboard [skateboard] go faster?
you can make a board go faster by reducing friction. this is hard to do without changing out parts. the bearings are obviously very important. Wheels can also affect top speed. But the biggest source of friction comes from the road you're riding on. New, smooth asphalt is MUCH faster than old pitted asphalt. concrete is fastest of all but when it starts to heave and crack it becomes totally unrideable.
One way to pick up alot of speed is to ride hills with an increasing gradient. (hills that get steeper as they go on) Since it takes time to acquire speed, if you're already going really fast you can get to terminal velocity for that gradient much quicker.
when i rode I was more concerned with making my board slower; maybe the hills are bigger where i live. Anyways, be careful; don't hurt yourself.
i would get some Bones speed cream. Or any specially formulated skateboard bearing lube. DOnt usee WD-40, like the person above me said b/c it will eventually attract dust and dirt and slow down ur bearings.

Axle seals/bearings in a Ford 9';.?
I have a 1980 Mustang Cobra. All I know is that it has a 9'; rear end (stock was 8.8), and the rear wheels are setup for 5 lug now, not 4. The axle seal is leaking on the brakes, so it needs to be changed. How do I go about changing the seal? I have heard to just unbolt the axle, and slide out.. and I have also heard the yoke needs to be removed. Which is it? Does anyone have a write up or pictures on how to do this?
Sorry I am complete beginner on rear ends!Axle seals/bearings in a Ford 9';.?
On a 9'; Ford diff the axle is not retained by an internal clip. You need to remove the brakes to get to the bearing plate behind the axle flange, it is held on by 4 bolts. Remove these and you can pull the axle out of the tube ( can be very hard pull to remove). The axle will come out and you will see the bearing and seal mounted on the axle and a retainer ring. You will need a press and the proper puller plates to press the retainer off the axle to remove the bearing and seal. You then install new seal and everything goes on in reverse order. If you do not have the proper tools take it to a garage and have it done.Axle seals/bearings in a Ford 9';.?
you remove the wheel, and the drum until you are up to the axle. you then remove the cover of the rear end mound at the middle and remove either a half moon wedge or a clip. Then you remove the axle from the rear end. Take off the bearing from the axle and replace the new seal. Clean up everything with brake cleaner. If the brake shoes are needed replace them. But replace on both wheels. Reinstall in reverse order and don't forget to put new grease on the bearing.
When you need to purchase new wheel bearings or seals, go to http://mibearings.com and fill out the form on the right side of the page. If you only want new seals (not bearings), add in the notes that you just want seals. They will look-up seals for your car and email you back with a price and a link. Also, you will need to tell them the stock size, and as much info as you can. Maybe give them the link to this page.
I hope that helps a little, good luck!
You better get a CHILTONS manual or you will be in big trouble

How do i wire an o2 sensor on a 51 plate hyundai coupe?
had to change the engine as the big end bearings went in the old one. The connectors for the o2 sensors were different so we had to change the plugs over but the wiring colours are different on the car compared to that on the sensor. On the sensor i have 1 black, 1 grey and 2 white wires and on the car there is 1 yellow, 1 brown, 1 red with a white stripe and 1 green with a white stripe. Need to know which wires go together. How do i wire an o2 sensor on a 51 plate hyundai coupe?
try to check it out first on auto repair shop..How do i wire an o2 sensor on a 51 plate hyundai coupe?
you will have to get new sensors for them to work with the computer.....im assuming you replaced the computer as well? if not you might have to. the engine is probably a year or 2 older or newer and so not all the sensors will be the same. Good luck
